Publications & Library

Resources

The Library is working toward providing all research materials digitally. Search in two places:

  • The online catalog has about 20,000 items in both print and digital format with both NCSC and traditional print items.
  • The eCollection contains over 8,500 items, mostly in PDF format. It is divided into 20 categories covering court administration; for best results search all eCollection categories at once.

Services

The Library loans books and provides document delivery directly to members of the court community. Inter-library loan is available through your local library. Library staff can provide basic reference services for court personnel. Please email the library for any request.

Copyright permissions

To request copyright permission to use NCSC materials, email the library.  Resources loaned by the NCSC Library may be protected by the Copyright Law of the United States of America (Title 17 U.S. Code) which governs reproduction and use of copyrighted material.

State Justice Institute

In 2011, the State Justice Institute (SJI) selected the NCSC Library as the official repository for SJI-funded reports. State Justice Institute materials can be accessed both via the catalog and eCollection .
