2022 Civics Education Essay Contest entries due Feb. 25

Which Amendment to the U.S. Constitution has made the biggest difference in people’s lives? Explain how and why.

That's the question we're asking 3rd-12th grade students to answer for NCSC's 2022 Civics Education Essay Contest. Third through eighth graders should submit essays in 100 words or less. Ninth through twelfth graders should submit essays in 250 words or less.

We're giving away $3,000 in cash prizes. Essays are due February 25, 2022.

The goal of NCSC's Civics Education Essay Contest is to get students engaged and ponder the importance of civics at home and in the classroom.
