Exercise 4: Summary
Courts have an obligation to provide language access services to court users. However, court users may not know how to access those services if they receive forms in a language that they do not speak and that no one in their home speaks. Lack of familiarity with court processes can also contribute to difficulties experienced by LEP individuals.
