Many jurisdictions have shifted operations to offer remote and hybrid child welfare hearings. These practices require courts to think differently about how children, families and court professionals will participate in hearings and how in-person practices will translate to the virtual environment. NCSC’s work in this emerging area provides courts with important considerations to support children and families.
