What is Family-Centered Justice?

The purpose of Family-Centered Justice is to cultivate courts that center families and contribute to building strong communities where all families thrive.

How can courts help build stronger communities where families can grow and thrive? Find out during our  Family-Centered Fridays series where we take a deep dive into, "All Courts. All Cases. All Communities." Throughout the Family-Centered Fridays series, we will explore ways courts can adopt family-centered practices to foster well-being and stability, reduce delays, and interrupt generational justice involvement. Registration for the next session  will be linked below when it becomes available.

Transforming the way courts serve and support families will take leadership, time, and a paradigm shift. Family-Centered Justice at NCSC partners with local and state courts to develop, implement, and assess practices that cultivate courts that center families and contribute to building strong communities where all families thrive.
