Compensation Range for Freelance Interpreters (Certified Sign Language): $80/hour, with a two-hour minimum, for certified ASL Interpreters
Difference in Pay between Spanish and LOTS Interpreters: None
Minimum Certification Requirements: For full certification (spoken language) - Two-Day Orientation Workshop, Written Examination, and Oral Examination. ASL certification as listed on RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) is accepted as full certification.
