Court AI Implementers’ Forum
The National Center for State Courts (NCSC), Joint Technology Committee (JTC), and Court Information Technology Consortium (CITOC) launched the Court AI Implementers' Forum in 2023 to foster information sharing and collaboration among court professionals who are harnessing AI to improve courts systems. This forum serves as an dynamic community where members share insights, exchange resources, and explore practical AI solutions for courts.
Membership
The Court AI Implementers' Forum is designed for professionals actively engaged in the development, implementation, and deployment of AI-related solutions in court settings. Forum discussions focus on practical AI-related applications and key related topics such as policy, governance, workforce education, and access to justice.
Membership consists of more than 120 professionals, including:
- Court Technology and IT Leadership
- Judicial and Court Management
- Legal Counsel and Policy Experts
- Data Science and Research Specialists
Eligibility Criteria
Membership is open to technical and non-technical court professionals involved in AI initiatives.
Participants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Employed by a court at the local, state, or federal level;
- Serves as an active member of JTC or CITOC; or
- Employed by NCSC or another not-for-profit/government entity serving the court or justice community.
Academics and industry experts may be considered for membership on a case-by-case basis.
By joining, members agree to actively contribute to discussions and share updates about active or upcoming AI-related projects.
Meeting Details
Meetings occur on the second Wednesday of every month via Microsoft Teams.
Every meeting includes a presentation on a real-world AI solution and allotted time for members to share updates, ask questions, and discuss ideas or challenges.

NCSC will be establishing collaborative learning opportunities. These may be in the form of webinars, summits, or part of established NCSC events. Announcements about upcoming learning events will be posted once details become available.
