Video Access to the Courtroom
People may observe or participate in a court proceeding from another location by video. Depending on the purpose of the proceeding and the reason for having video access, the judge may interact with the defendant in a jail, a witness may be testifying remotely, an interpreter may be doing language interpretation remotely, or court security officers may be monitoring proceedings in the courtroom.
