This virtual tour is aimed at pretrial service providers and those stakeholders new to the Kentucky Court of Justice process. Conceived as a means for Kentucky to efficiently transfer knowledge about their program, and reduce both the strain on the Court’s resources and the travel costs of jurisdictional teams from across the U.S., the virtual tour features three main components, including: 1) structure; 2) process; and 3) impact.
Each component has several sections which walk state courts and their partners through the essential elements Kentucky considered when establishing and executing this program. In addition to being self-paced, the tour features a resource tab which includes pretrial forms, national research related to pretrial programming, relevant legislation and rulings, Kentucky-issued re-ports, and related websites.
