Florida Bar News article on Florida’s Justice for All grant
Strategic Planning Grant: 2018
The Florida Commission on Access to Civil Justice conducted an assessment from 2014-16 to determine the access to justice landscape in Florida and determine the resources available to low- and moderate-income individuals navigating legal challenges. The JFA funding represents an opportunity for the Florida ATJ Commission to conduct outreach to non-traditional access to civil justice stakeholders and ensure appropriate engagement of litigants and the user voice. Through this JFA grant, the Florida JFA team will develop a process to directly engage self-represented litigants and community stakeholders to identify how users can have a positive user experience with the court system while preserving substantive and procedural fairness and due process.
