New and active legislation includes:

- Minnesota House advances bill that classifies the personal information of judicial officials as private data and prohibits dissemination of that information; and
- Vermont Senate is considering a bill that would require judiciary-employed Court Security Officers to provide security at court properties and at other court-related functions for the Vermont Judiciary at the direction of the Court Administrator.
