- Indiana legislature approves constitutional amendment that would allow city or town court judges to reside in the county or in the closest bordering county in which the city or town is located.
Salary & Budget
- Georgia Senate committee approves House bill to set some judicial salaries as a percentage of federal judicial salaries. The salaries of state supreme court justices would be set as equal to that of a federal district court judge.

- Kentucky Senate approves bill to limit or prohibit the disclosure of personally identifiable information of judicial officers. House had approved a similar bill earlier this month.
