Mariluz Maldonado

Mariluz Maldonado, MPA, AICP, is a Senior Court Management Consultant at the National Center for State Courts (NCSC) within the Court Consulting Services Group. She brings extensive experience in public policy, urban planning, zoning, community engagement, government relations, project management, and tribal government. With over 15 years of combined experience in the public and private sectors, she specializes in bridging the gap between technical planning and community interests while leveraging data analysis for urban management and policy formulation. Mariluz possesses strong project management skills that enable her to lead multidisciplinary teams effectively with a strong focus on problem-solving and innovative thinking. Her expertise includes evaluating policy effectiveness, conducting needs assessments, and providing recommendations to elected officials for development approval projects and policy improvements. She is skilled at fostering effective communication of project goals between residents, government officials, and other stakeholders to ensure inclusive decision-making.

Mariluz holds a Master of Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida Atlantic University. She is a certified member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) and holds a specialization certificate in Modern Project Management.
