Matilde Cantero is a Program Specialist in the Research division working under Department of Justice related projects with the National Center for State Courts.
Before joining NCSC, Matilde worked in a variety of social service agencies delivering case management services for almost 10 years. Matilde worked in emergency shelters and community-based sites with individuals experiencing domestic abuse. Matilde also has experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of a grant funded re-entry program through the Department of Labor for individuals being released from prison and jail. Matilde has vast experience accompanying clients through different courts and other related systems.
Matilde holds a Master of Science in Applied Criminology from Northern Arizona University.
