Michael Navin

Michael Navin is a Principal Court Management Consultant in the Technology, Architecture Planning and Security Division at the National Center for State Courts (NCSC).  He joined NCSC in October 2023, after 23 years working in Management and Court Technology across several courts in Michigan. He currently serves as the moderator for the NCSC’s Court AI Implementer’s Forum and has presented numerous times the effect AI will have on the courts to both domestic and international audiences.  Other focus areas include technology assessments, assistance with technology staff reorganizations and recruitment, change management, court business process, and GAP analysis assessments, developing and implementing policies and procedures, leading cross-functional teams, and case filing projections for court space analysis. Mr. Navin holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice and Psychology, from Wayne State University.
