Yanitza Madrigal

Yanitza (Yani) Madrigal, JD, MPA, CCM is a Senior Court Management Consultant for the NCSC. Her training and experience consist of various aspects of court operations from caseflow management to providing technical support to the Judiciary and Court Administration. Her skills include analyzing statistical information and business processes to reduce and eliminate redundancy, developing operational policies and procedures, and conducting caseload trend analysis for projections and forecasting. Her expertise includes gathering technical and business requirements, business process reengineering, and making data-driven recommendations to enhance court performance.

Yanitza served in various positions ranging from case management to information technology for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, where she was involved in integrating technology into court processes and increasing access to justice through the implementation of projects ranging from online scheduling to online dispute resolution. Additionally, she participated in the Civil Justice Initiative Project, one of four nationwide projects focused on the study of case management aimed at reducing cost and delay in civil cases. Yanitza served on the Court Application Processing System (CAPS) and Florida Electronic Filing Portal subcommittees established by the Florida Courts Technology Commission (FCTC). Yanitza holds both a Juris Doctorate and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Florida International University (FIU).
